Thick Fog is continuing to cause flight disruptions at Wellington Airport on Thursday morning for a third straight day.
The heavy fog has led to more cancellations and delays as planes have been unable to take off or land.
Foggy conditions in the capital city mean there is low visibility for aircraft.
On the Wellington Airports website, almost all flights leaving the capital between 6:30am and 8:55am have been cancelled while seven further flights after 9am have also been cancelled.
Arrivals into Wellington have also been affected with all but five of Air New Zealand's flights from 6:30am to 9:25am being cancelled because of the weather.
MetServcie said Wellington will experience low cloud or fog on Thursday morning but it will clear to be fine in the afternoon.
Wellington Airport spokeswoman Jenna Raeburn said no flights will land until the fog clears and therefore no flights will depart either.
Raeburn added only one Sounds Air flight landed in Wellington on Wednesday afternoon, and conditions had not improved this morning.
