Police are investigating after security guards were attacked and a store was ram-raided in two separate robberies on Tuesday night.
The first break-in was at WestCity mall in the west Auckland suburb of Henderson around 4am.
A police spokesperson said four men used a weapon to force their way into the shopping centre before attacking the guards.
The men struck one security guard in the back while the other suffered cuts to his hands. One of the guards was hospitalised for minor injuries.
The spokesperson said the men fled the scene when authorities arrived.
"The investigation is ongoing, including a scene examination and a review of available CCTV footage."
It wasn't the only incident that night with police also investigating a ram-raid at a shop on Beach Road in Mairangi Bay.
A police spokesperson said the offenders used a car to ram the front of the shop before making off with a number of stolen items.
"Police are making enquiries into the incident, including conducting a scene examination and reviewing available CCTV footage."
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact Police on 105.
It comes after a dramatic ram-raid at a south Auckland mall on Monday. Three stolen cars were used to smash through automatic doors at the Ormiston Town Centre shopping centre before driving through the mall and smashing into Postie Plus and Noel Leeming.
