Video footage has emerged showing what appears to be a gun being fired outside a Hamilton shopping centre in broad daylight.
The video footage posted on TikTok shows what appears to be a warning shot thought to be between two rival gangs outside the Bader Street shops.
Concerningly, a child can be seen walking by a group of men dressed in red just before the shot was fired.
A loud bang was heard, followed by the blast visibly hitting the ground.
The person recording the video from a car shows a man who appears to be holding a gun and then says "quick go" before driving away.
A Police spokesperson said Police are investigating the incident which involved two groups of people when the firearm was allegedly discharged after receiving a report at 5:30pm.
The spokesperson said no one was injured.
