The man accused of the murder of Val Heaney in her Christchurch home earlier this month has been granted interim name suppression.
Heaney's body was found at her address in the suburb of Woolston on April 4.
On Saturday, a man was charged with murdering the 64-year-old.
He was granted interim name suppression in the Christchurch District Court on Monday morning. He was remanded in custody for his next appearance in the Christchurch High Court next month.
