A person has died in a crash between a vehicle and two motorcyclists in Christchurch on Tuesday evening.
Police said the crash happened at the intersection of Halswell Rd (State Highway 75) and Aidanfield Dr in the suburb of Halswell at 6:45pm.
"Sadly, a 22-year-old man has died at the scene. Another man has been transported to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries," police said.
SH75 has reopened following a scene examination by the serious crash unit but motorists are being warned of delays on Wednesday morning.
