Two people are in hospital with serious injuries after an incident in the Auckland suburb of Remuera overnight.
Police said they received a report of a grievous assault at a house in Arney Crescent shortly after 10:30pm on Thursday.
Ambulances were called to the scene and two people were taken to Auckland Hospital.
Police took two people into custody and one of them has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
They will appear in the Auckland Youth Court on April 16.
Arney Crescent was Auckland's most expensive street last year, according to One Roof.
