There are concerns over the welfare of a Kiwi missing in the UK who hasn't been seen since Saturday (local time), sparking a frantic social media campaign to locate him.
British police have launched an investigation into the disappearance of Joseph Day, 31, a former TVNZ camera operator.
Day lives in the Clifton area of Bristol and was last seen on Saturday at 8.45pm (local time). He hasn't responded to phone calls or texts since.
The 31-year-old is described as being of mixed ethnicity, with short dark hair and stubble. He’s around 180cm tall with an athletic build and has sleeve tattoos on both forearms, Avon and Somerset police said.
"This is very out of character for him and we’re concerned for his welfare," police said in an appeal for information.
Police believe he may be wearing black high top Nike trainers, a long black wax jacket and a blue Seattle Mariners baseball cap.
His fiancee has taken to social media pleading for anyone with any information to come forward.
