A small plane has reportedly crashed at the Feilding Aerodrome, leaving the pilot seriously injured.
The plane came down on take-off at the privately-owned Feilding Aerodrome around 2pm.
The pilot was taken by rescue helicopter to the hospital after the crash this afternoon with serious injuries.
The Civil Aviation Authority has been notified and Taonui Road has been closed.
