A suburban street in Auckland's Mt Albert has been cordoned off as police investigate a death.
Police were called to Alberton Avenue just after 7pm on Tuesday and confirmed to Newshub that someone was located deceased.
A witness said numerous police cars, ambulances and fire engines are parked at the entrance of a walkway on Alberton Avenue.
Police said circumstances surrounding the death are unclear at this stage.
