An update has been provided by the police after a man was shot dead in the Wellington suburb of Newlands on Tuesday.
The man, believed to have gang links, was shot dead on Tuesday afternoon after what police said was a "family harm incident".
Acting Wellington District Commander Insp Tracey Thompson spoke to media.
