Four people have been arrested after a stabbing that seriously injured a man in central Auckland overnight.
At about 3:10am on Saturday, a man was found on Freyberg Pl with a stab wound after reports someone had been assaulted.
He was taken to Auckland Hospital, reportedly in a serious condition, police said in a statement.
"Four people were taken into custody following the assault," the statement said.
It's not yet clear whether charges have been laid.
