A person has been arrested after an Auckland charity shop was broken into overnight.
Police said in a statement they were notified of a break-in at the SPCA Op Shop on Church Street in Onehunga at 12.54am on Friday morning.
Police said they attended the break-in and one person was arrested, with enquires ongoing.
Photos from the scene show large shards of broken glass scattered near the entrance to the shop.
It's not yet known if anything was stolen from the charity store.
The SPCA op shop raises money for rescued animals and is located on the main shopping strip in Onehunga.
