Police officers have responded to another spate of burglaries in Auckland overnight.
A shopping complex on Moore St in Howick was targeted at about 3:15am.
Burglars broke into at least five shops including a fruit store, a sushi shop and a Bin Inn supermarket.
"It's understood the group arrived and later fled the scene in a dark SUV," a police spokesperson said, adding an investigation was underway and no arrests had been made.
Meanwhile, across town in Ōrākei, a stolen car was rammed into a liquor store on Coates Ave.
A large amount of alcohol could be seen shattered on the ground.
"It's understood a number of items have been taken in the burglary, with the same vehicle used to flee the scene," police said.
Anyone with information about either incident was urged to contact the police on 105 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
