Police are currently in Ōtāhuhu, south Auckland after a report of a serious assault.
Police said in a statement to Newshub that they were notified of the attack on Jane Cowie Avenue just after 8pm on Thursday.
"A cordon is in place while police work to determine the circumstances."
Police said more information will likely be available on Friday.
