An investigation is underway into an aggravated robbery at a Mosgiel bar on Friday night, which saw staff and customers threatened by a gunman.
Police said in a statement the robbery was reported just before 11pm on Friday at a bar on Gordon Rd in Mosgiel.
Two people entered the bar, one of them armed with a gun.
"The offenders demanded that bar staff give them money from the till and left the bar with a quantity of cash," police said.
"As well as the bar staff, there were a small number of customers in the bar at the time. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident."
Police said they would like to hear from anyone who was in the Gordon Rd area around the time of the robbery and may have seen something which could assist.
