Police are investigating a spate of burglaries on Auckland's North Shore on Wednesday morning.
Police said at around 1:20am they responded to reports of a ram raid at a store on Hurstmere Rd in Takapuna.
"A group of offenders have entered the store however it's understood they've fled empty-handed," a police spokesperson said.
The second burglary occurred at around 1:35am when a group of offenders broke into a retail complex on Glenfield Rd.
Police said a vehicle was not used to gain entry to the complex.
"Once inside the complex, the offenders have broken into two stores and stolen a number of items, before fleeing in vehicles," the spokesperson said.
The third robbery occurred at around 1:40am when police responded to a report of a burglary at a store on Glenfield Rd.
"A group of people have broken into the store and stolen a number of items, before fleeing in a vehicle," the spokesperson said.
"Enquires are in their early stages and Police are working to establish if these incidents are linked."
Police said they're taking these latest robberies very seriously.
"We want to reassure the community that we take these matters very seriously and we are working hard to locate these offenders and hold them to account," the spokesperson said.
"Anyone with information, including people who are offered item they suspect may be stolen, is asked to contact Police on 105.
"Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111."
These three burglaries come after a Michael Hill jewellery store on Broadway in Newmarket was the target of a smash and grab on Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday, thieves broke into at least five Auckland shops at a shopping complex on Moore St in Howick, while a liquor store was ram-raided in a separate incident.
