Police are investigating a ramraid at LynnMall in west Auckland on Wednesday morning as the city continues to deal with a crime wave.
In a statement, police said thieves ram-raided the entry to the mall on Great North Road in New Lynn at around 5am.
"Police understand multiple offenders have entered a number of stores in the complex and subsequently fled the scene in the same vehicle used to gain entry," a police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said enquiries are underway to establish what happened, which includes looking at any available CCTV footage.
Police urge anyone with information to come forward and speak to them.
"Anyone with information which may assist our investigation is asked to contact Police on 105, quoting job number P051902399.
"Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111."
This is not the first time LynnMall has been ram-raided. Last month, thieves smashed their way into two stores in the mall and stole jewellery and sunglasses.
This latest ram-raid comes a day after a Henderson vape was targeted with the shop's owner saying he is too "scared to come to work".
