Auckland police have arrested six people and seized a haul of illegal firearms and drugs amid Operation Cobalt.
It comes after police executed several search warrants at a number of properties across the Waitematā District.
A police spokesperson said on Friday eight firearms, ammunition, a stolen vehicle, around four grams of methamphetamine, under $10,000 cash and a fully-functioning methamphetamine laboratory were recovered.
Police arrested a 46-year-old man who's been charged with possession of methamphetamine. He appeared in the Waitakere District Court on Friday.
A patched 44-year-old Head Hunters member was charged with unlawful possession of a pistol and ammunition. He appeared in the Auckland District Court on Friday.
A 35-year-old patched Mongrel Mob member was charged with burglary in relation to a commercial burglary in June. He will appear in the Waitakere District Court on October 4.
Also, a 40-year-old patched member of the Rebels MC, a 39-year-old female Rebels associate and a 50-year-old man have been issued with a raft of charges including:
Possession of equipment for manufacture
Possession of material for manufacture
Possession of a substance for manufacture
Manufacturing methamphetamine
Seven charges of unlawful possession of a firearm
All three appeared in the Waitakere District Court on Friday.
Police won't rule out further charges over this "serious offending".
