A man has gone on a wild window-smashing spree leaving an Auckland furniture store in clean-up mode.
Police were called at about 5:45am on Thursday after a man was seen walking along Parnell Road smashing windows.
Newshub understands nothing was stolen from the King Living furniture store during the incident but a significant amount of damage has been caused.
Police said they're making enquiries following multiple reports of disorder in Parnell on Thursday morning.
"Police were advised of a man who was yelling on Parnell Road, and reportedly broke a shop window," a police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said there are no reports of injuries or burglaries.
Footage from the scene shows a huge hole in the front windows of the store and shattered glass over the front of the shop.
It's unclear if the offender has been arrested and police have been approached for comment.
