A person has died near a west Auckland beach on Wednesday morning.
The death happened on a street next to Laingholm Beach in west Auckland just after 10am.
"Emergency services have attended a sudden death on Sandy's Pde, Laingholm, which was reported to police at 10:08am.
"No further information is available at this stage, however it's not understood to be suspicious," a police spokeswoman said.
