Two shops on a central Auckland shopping strip have been targeted in a window smashing spree - the second time windows have been smashed in the suburb in two weeks.
Police say they were called to a report of wilful damage in Parnell at about 11.40pm on Sunday where two stores were damaged.
Police are making enquiries.
The owners of the stores did not want to comment and asked for their shops not to be identified.
The incident comes just more than a week after a furniture store up the road also had its windows smashed.
Nothing was stolen from the King Living furniture store during the incident on October 13 but a significant amount of damage was caused.
"Police were advised of a man who was yelling on Parnell Road, and reportedly broke a shop window," a police spokesperson said at the time.
