A Wellington musician facing a number of sexual offence charges has pleaded not guilty on all counts in Wellington District Court.
The 25-year-old, who has name suppression, was arrested in December 2020.
The court was told today he faces eight charges in total.
Six are for sexual violation - four of rape and two of unlawful sexual connection - and two separate charges of indecent assault.
There are a number of complainants and the alleged offences all took place in the wider Wellington area.
A jury has been sworn in and the trial is expected to last until at least Tuesday next week.
