Emergency services are responding to an aircraft crash at Tauranga Airport.
A police spokesperson told Newshub emergency services responded to a "light aircraft crash," at the airport at around 1:25pm on Tuesday.
"Only the pilot was onboard. The pilot exited the aircraft without injury. There were no other injuries," the spokesperson said.
Fire and Emergency also confirmed they responded to the crash.
"At 1:21 pm today, Fire and Emergency (FENZ) was alerted to an incident at Tauranga Airport. One Fire and Emergency fire truck is currently in attendance at this incident," a FENZ spokesperson told Newshub.
