Six people have been arrested and $2.5 million, firearms, vehicles and drugs have been seized after police carried out a series of search warrants in Palmerston North and Auckland.
The search warrants were part of Operation Cobalt which targets organised criminal activity.
Among the vehicles seized were a Harley-Davidson, an Audi, a Range Rover, a BMW, and a Ford Raptor.
About $560,000 cash was also found, along with about 9kg of methamphetamine, which has a street value of $1.6 million.
Police also found seven firearms and equipment used to convert starter pistols into illegal guns.
Central District Detective Inspector Paul Baskett said the arrests and seizures will significantly impact the sale and supply of methamphetamine.
"Operation Cobalt is continuing to target and disrupt illegal behaviour, such as the operation allegedly being conducted by this group," Det Insp Baskett said.
"We are pleased to have put these offenders before the courts and to have removed weapons and drugs from the community, and to have taken the profits of crime out of the hands of alleged criminals."
Four men, aged 32, 36, 45 and 55, and two women, aged 31 and 32, are next due to appear at the Palmerston North District Court on December 2, on several drug-related and other charges.
