A venomous sea snake has reportedly washed up on a West Coast beach.
Footage posted to TikTok appears to show the unwelcome visitor wriggling around on the sand.
It's been viewed more than 200,000 times on the social media app.
The Department of Conservation warns if people see a sea snake, they shouldn't try to touch or handle it due to them being highly venomous.
