Four lucky Kiwis have taken home their share of $1 million after winning Lotto First Division on Saturday night.
The players from Auckland, Nelson, and Wellington each won $250,000 in the live Lotto draw. The winning tickets were sold at Pak'nSave Richmond in Nelson and on MyLotto.
But the whopping $20 million Powerball wasn't won on Saturday and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $23 million.
Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $1 million on Wednesday, meaning it will be a Must Be Won draw - which means if no single ticket wins First Division, the prize pool is added to the next highest division with a winner.
MyLotto's online site was plagued with issues on Saturday night as Kiwis rushed to grab a ticket ahead of the $20 million draw.
"Hey Lotto NZ, what's up with your website? Can log in but can't purchase any tickets...... Not good enough aye?" One person commented on Lotto's Facebook page on Saturday.
"For the biggest draw this is ridiculous - only 1.5 hours till it closes and then what everyone misses out?" another asked.
Lotto responded to one person on Facebook saying: "We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused."
"We are having an issue with MyLotto online at the moment but rest assured, we are working hard on getting a solution ASAP. Thank you for your patience at this time."
In a later comment, Lotto said the issues should be fixed.
"Rest assured our team was straight onto it as soon as the issue became known and all should be up and running again now."
