Police are making enquiries after multiple shots were heard in Lower Moutere, Motueka on Monday night.
"Police were called about 6.40pm Monday to Main Road [in] Lower Moutere following a report of multiple shots heard," a spokesperson said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Armed Offenders Squad also attended as a precaution, but no one was located at the property, the spokesperson said.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing."
