A vehicle has crashed into a New World on Wakefield Street in Te Aro, Wellington.
A picture shows the car's bonnet smashed through the supermarket's wall.
One person posted on the Facebook page Vic Deals with the caption: "Ute has gone through New World on Chaffers, hope people involved are okay."
Several people on the Facebook page jokingly commented about the driver's unsual way of parking.
"Just proving to people that the mighty hilux will go anywhere maaaaate," one commented.
Another commented: "Weird way to ram raid a supo."
A third commented: "That's not how click and collect works."
Police said they had received a report of a vehicle colliding with the rear of a commercial premises on Wakefield Street at about 10.40am.
"No serious injuries appear to have been reported," a police spokesperson said in a statement on Friday.
Foodstuffs spokesperson Emma Wooster told Newshub in a statement on Friday a vehicle crashed into the storeroom of the Wellington City New World.
"Thankfully, there were no team members in the vicinity at the time. There has been some damage to the outer wall, racking, and product in the storeroom which is currently being assessed and attended to," Wooster said.
New World Wellington City is operating as normal.
Wellington Free Ambulance told Newshub they were at the scene but they did not have to transport anyone to hospital.
