The rural settlement of Eskdale is immersed in silt and mud after Cyclone Gabrielle ripped through earlier this week.
Aerial footage shows the devastating aftermath of the storm which turned orchards into fields of mud.
On Tuesday morning, the Esk River burst its banks, flooding the settlement. While some flooding still remains, the destruction the cyclone caused can now be seen.
