A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged with arson after a suspicious fire in Ngongotaha on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the address in Ranginui Street at around 9:30am. Police want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious around that time.
The man is due to appear in the Rotorua District Court on Saturday.
Police are interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Ranginui Street area around 9.30am on 22 February.
