A fire has been extinguished at an Auckland workshop on Thursday morning after emergency services swarmed to the scene.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) spokesperson said they were alerted to the fire in New Lynn at 7:42am.
The spokesperson said seven crews attended the fire and put the blaze out.
The blaze was in a two-storey powder coating factory and one of the machines caught fire and caused the blaze.
The fire was brought under control "reasonably quickly" and crews will be on the scene making sure no hot spots flare up, the spokesperson said.
There was initial concern for a missing person but they were quickly located upstairs.
The person was checked over by the ambulance staff as a precaution but suffered no injuries or health-related issues from the fire, the spokesperson said.
