Thieves have struck twice on Auckland's North Shore in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police officers have been at the scenes of a ram raid and an attempted burglary, the first on Coronation Rd and the second on Chartwell Ave in Glenfield.
Footage from the Coronation Mini Mart shows a smashed front door and chocolate ice creams and canned drinks strewn across the floor.
A police spokesperson said police received reports at 4:46am of a stolen vehicle used to ram raid a commercial premises in Coronation Rd.
"A group of offenders have made off with multiple items from the store, and decamped in another vehicle."
Just minutes later at 4:52am, police responded to an attempted burglary on Chartwell Ave, but the offenders failed to gain entry.
"The offenders have left the scene before Police have arrived."
The spokesperson said enquiries into the incidents are ongoing but could involve the same offenders given the close time and location.
