A 24-year-old woman from Wairarapa has been arrested for allegedly supplying a "significant" amount of methamphetamine.

Police said the 24-year-old was found at a "gang-affiliated" house in Carterton, Wairarapa when police were undertaking a pre-planned search warrant.

"Police seized approximately 660 grams of methamphetamine which is equivalent to about 33,000 doses and worth approximately $230,000," a police spokesperson said in a statement on Tuesday.

Police said around $37,000 in cash was also seized by them.

"This seizure is a great result and we are committed to disrupting the supply of illicit drugs in our communities," Detective Senior Sergeant Phillip Skoglund said in a statement on Tuesday.

Det Snr Sgt Skoglund said removing the methamphetamine may have prevented up to $730,000 worth of social harm.

Police said more arrests in relation to the methamphetamine supply are likely.

The woman is set to appear in the Masterton District Court on Wednesday - on a charge of possession of methamphetamine for supply.
