It's time to set your clocks back and sleep in a little bit longer as daylight savings officially ends overnight.
Clocks roll back an hour overnight this weekend as the winter months approach.
Daylight saving starts each year at 2am on the last Sunday in September, and ends at 3am on the first Sunday in April.
During the daylight saving months we are on 'New Zealand daylight time', which is one hour ahead of New Zealand standard time.
