Four people are facing drug and firearms-related charges following a dramatic search warrant along Wellington's Oriental Parade on Wednesday.
In a statement, a police spokesperson said a 27-year-old woman, two 26-year-old men and a 23-year-old man were arrested on Wednesday morning.
The woman and two 26-year-old men have been bailed, while the 23-year-old was remanded in custody.
Images from the morning search warrant show the armed offenders squad swarming a property on Oriental Parade.
"All four are due to appear in the Wellington District Court [on Thursday]," the spokesperson said.
Wellington police were assisted by the armed offenders squad as a "precaution" when the search warrant was executed at about 9:30am on Wednesday.
"The road was closed for a short time during the morning, and police would like to thank residents and the public for their understanding."
The spokesperson added there was no threat to public safety and there is no ongoing risk to nearby residents.
