A driver is lucky to be alive after a massive crash on Auckland's Northwestern Motorway.
Emergency services were called at about 1:30am after a car went off the road at a significant speed near Te Atatu.
The car's rear wheels and other parts were strewn across Te Atatu Rd after the crash.
It's understood the driver walked away with no significant injuries.
