A fourth man appeared in court in Christchurch on Monday facing charges relating to another drink-spiking allegation from an incident at the Mama Hooch bar.
The man is charged with sexually violating one woman in 2018.
One of the two convicted rapists already in prison has pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault of the same woman on the same night.
This man is friends with the two men convicted of multiple sex crimes at Christchurch bar Mama Hooch.
They're now in custody awaiting sentence - and today was his turn in court.
We can't identify him due to suppression but the charge relates to a night at Mama Hooch, a bar we know now is at the centre of years of women being drugged and sexually assaulted.
Today the court heard from yet another woman who says on a night out she went to Mama Hooch, she was drugged and then sexually violated and indecently assaulted by two men.
One man, now in prison, has already pleaded guilty to assaulting her at his house on the night in question.
And astonishingly this happened a month after being questioned by police about drugging and attacking another two women.
Today's trial follows the almost three-month trial of three other men on charges of stupefying, raping and assaulting more than 20 women.
This man successfully argued to have the allegations against him - relating to one woman - heard separately.
The court heard evidence today from that woman who was out drinking with a friend. Late that night, they ended up at Mama Hooch.
She says her nightmare began after having drinks at Mama Hooch and she was taken away in a car to a townhouse to be sexually violated and indecently assaulted.
"I didn't know why I was there, I was just, it was like being a robot. I just got in and I was being taken somewhere," she said.
Explaining an assault with other people watching and encouraging the defendant.
"I couldn't control what I was doing. I felt quite sedate."
Like the women in the previous trial, she could barely remember any details of the night following drinking at Mama Hooch. But she has flashes of the assault.
She looked up one of the men that assaulted her on Facebook and later told police: "People know them. People know that they're dodgy."
More WhatsApp conversations involving this defendant were read out in court today, including him saying about women: "Just holes we put it in boys, nothing more."
This trial is expected to finish tomorrow.
