Teachers, students uninjured after car crashes into Auckland school classroom

Teachers and students at Auckland's Kristin School have not been injured after a car crashed into a classroom.

In a statement, Kristin School executive principal Mark Wilson said the car crashed into the classroom during the morning drop-off period, which was occupied by teachers and students. 

"The students are all safe and well, as are their teachers, and normal lessons are continuing."

A police spokesperson said emergency services are in attendance at the crash in Albany. 

"Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash into a building on Albany Highway around 8:31am."

The spokesperson said the driver of the vehicle received minor injuries.

"No significant damage to the building has been reported."

The police spokesperson added enquires into the crash are ongoing.
