An early Friday morning ram raid attempt has gone wrong in Auckland's Panmure.
The driver aimed at Kiwi Liquor on Jellicoe Rd in Panmure, but footage captured by Newshub shows the vehicle ended up lodged on the store's bollards outside.
A police spokesperson said officers responded to the attempted ram raid at about 2:45am on Friday.
"It is understood to have been attempting to gain entry with use of the vehicle, however has failed due to the roller door."
The spokesperson said the offenders abandoned the vehicle and officers are working to locate them.
