Police are investigating a firearms shooting in south Auckland on Sunday after a person was hospitalised.
Emergency services swarmed a property on Jack Conway Ave in Manukau at around 6:05pm, a police spokesperson said staff couldn't find the victim when they arrived at the scene.
"At 7:35pm, police located the victim, who had suffered non-life threatening injuries."
It comes after a number of firearms incidents across south Auckland which saw at least two homes shot at on Saturday night.
But police say there is no evidence to suggest that this shooting is linked to others in Ōtara at the weekend.
"Police have identified those involved in this incident and enquiries are currently ongoing."
