Multiple people are injured after a school bus collided with a car in north Canterbury.
Police said no one in the bus was injured but "there are injuries to the occupants of the car".
A police spokesperson said the crash happened at the intersection of Broad and Harleston Rds, Waimakariri just after 3:30pm.
St John has sent three ambulances, two rapid response units and a helicopter to the scene.
The road is closed and motorists should delay travel in the area, police said.
