The father of three girls allegedly murdered by their mother in their Timaru home will speak in court on Tuesday.
On the second day of Lauren Dickason's murder trial, her husband Graham will share details of the killings via video link from South Africa.
Lauren is facing three counts of murder, one for each of her little girls - Liané, Maya and Karla.
After being at a work event on the evening of September 16, 2021, Graham returned home to find his children dead and his wife critically injured.
The Crown alleges Lauren is guilty of murder, saying she was aware of her actions before, during and after the crime.
However, the defence is arguing insanity and infanticide.
At the High Court in Christchurch on Monday, the final moments of the three young girls were outlined - with the jury hearing how Dickason told them they were going to make necklaces and then put zip ties around their necks.
Dickason was a doctor in South Africa. She and her husband Graham, an orthopaedic surgeon, had emigrated to Timaru weeks before the alleged killings.
