Three people have been injured in a large house fire in Hawke's Bay in the early hours of Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to a property on Lion St in Wairoa at about 12:50am.
The house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, with additional crews called in to assist.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson told Newshub three people were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to minor.
The blaze has been extinguished and is not being treated as suspicious.
