Commuters in Auckland are being warned to expect delays after two motorways were blocked on Thursday morning.
The NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi said a truck fire blocked the left southbound lane on State Highway 1 between the SH20 link on-ramp and Orams Rd overbridge.
A police spokesperson said the lane has since been cleared.
Meanwhile, on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20), a two-vehicle crash blocked the right northbound lane after the Massey Rd off-ramp.
Waka Kotahi said in an update 20 minutes later the crash had been moved clear of the lanes, however, commuters should still allow for extra time as delays in the area ease.
