A man found with injuries consistent with stab wounds has died in Palmerston North.
Police said they were called to reports of an assault at a home in Roslyn about 4.15am on Monday.
The man had critical injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died.
Police have begun a homicide investigation.
Manawatū Area Commander Inspector Ross Grantham was confident it was not connected to any recent gang activity.
