A toddler who went missing in west Auckland has been found "safe and well".
Willow, two, went missing from her home on Zodiac Street, Henderson, on Sunday afternoon, having last been seen in her garden.
Police search and rescue and LandSAR, supported by the police Eagle helicopter, were searching the Swanson area for her.
There was also a call from police for anyone who saw a black vehicle stopping on Universal Drive at around 2pm to assist a child.
In an update on Sunday evening, Inspector Jason Homan said Willow had been found "safe and well" and had been reunited with her family.
"Police and Willow's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all involved in the search," he said.
"There was a fantatstic response from the community, who assisted with the search and provided support."
In a Facebook post, a family member said "our precious has been found safe".
"Thank you for all your amazing caring words, to everyone that helped to walk the streets, crews everywhere. We thank you all from the bottom of our full again hearts," they wrote.
