An early morning ram-raid of an Auckland Nike store led police to chase the offender down in south Auckland.
The Newmarket sports store on Broadway was rammed after 1am on Monday morning – where the alleged thief was seen fleeing the scene.
It's understood the offender's vehicle, a white van, led police on a lengthy chase, before eventually being forced to stop in Manurewa.
Pictures captured by Newshub show the vehicle loaded with Nike-branded goods inside.
Police have been approached for more details.
