'Up the Wahs' has come out of the mouths of almost anyone and everyone you can think of – and now the catchphrase has made it all the way to Mexico.
A Youtube account 'Willy in Mexico' with 54 subscribers has shared 40 seconds of wholesome Kiwi-ness while walking the streets of Southern Mexico.
The Youtuber said he was walking around in southern Mexico when he thought he saw a Warriors sticker on the back of a van.
"I was like 'what!'."
While running down a street searching for the van, he asks himself "where'd it go?" Then he spots the taxi van pimped with a Warriors sticker on the boot.
"Oh here boy, yeah! What the f**?!" He said with shock and excitement.
Willy walks to the driver's door to see if they were in the seat.
"Excuse me Señor, do you like the Warriors?" Willy asks in Spanish.
The driver looked up with a big grin on his face asking if Willy was from New Zealand.
"Yeah bro, they are my country's team!" he replied in Spanish.
The driver replied, "Up the Wahs!"
Electrified with excitement of finding a Warriors fan all the way in Mexico, Willy and the driver shake hands.
"Faar bro, how cool!" He said.
"Our year boys, our year."
