New searches are being carried out in multiple areas of Canterbury on Wednesday as part of the investigation into real estate agent Yanfei Bao's disappearance.
Those areas included Waterholes and Robinson Rds in Rolleston, south of Christchurch; Spalling Rd and Te Kuru Wetland in the suburb of Halswell; and Hull Rd in McLeans Island, northwest of the city.
While the rural settlement of Greenpark had been a previous area of focus, no searches would take place there on Wednesday, a police spokeswoman said.
However, "future activity is being considered in that area", the spokeswoman added.
Last week, name suppression lapsed for the man accused of murdering and kidnapping Bao.
Tingjun Cao, 52, has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Bao hasn't been seen since July 19.
Since she disappeared, searches have been carried out at several locations across the city since her disappearance, including multiple properties and waterways, but have yet to find her body.
