Emergency services have rushed to a sudden death at a west Auckland supermarket carpark on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said they were called to the carpark at Countdown Te Atatū South just after 11am.
"The circumstances of death are currently unexplained and further enquiries are required."
Newshub understands at least five police cars attended, along with a couple of ambulances.
Police have asked the public to avoid the area.
A scene guard remains in place.
